Trying new foods is a great way to increase the variety of your diet and eat more balanced foods.  Many times your taste buds change, you have to try something several times before you truly know if you like it or not.  Taste buds also change over time.  There are many foods that I enjoy eating now that I disliked in the past.  Here’s a short list of a few foods maybe you have not had in a while and you might want to consider trying them again:

  • Dates
  • Eggplant
  • Dried Beans
  • Hummus
  • Mango
  • Okra
  • Rhubarb
  • Quinoa
  • Turnips
  • Zucchini

 

Try something new today!  The more variety in your diet the more moderation, balance, and chance of success at losing weight!
